Home-Base for a whole week

With the big tent from Roman`s father, we can comfortably survive as if its our home. Complete with table and chairs, provided us that extra comfort. The record so far was 5 person in the tent!
For the first weekend, Familie Berger spent some time with us too (picture on the 2nd row left).

River Rafting on the River Inn

Our first biggest adventure for the afternoon was with Raft (Inflatable boat) on the river Inn. The ride for the first few minutes was confortable and easy-going. Towards the late afternoon, we experienced the REAL stuff with wild and bumpy, yet manageable ride. In the end, we reliased that we got through a level 5 difficulty. (Max level is 6).
So to say: Ultimate Fun!

Motta Naluns - Sent - Scuol

Our first hiking trip, we walked from our camping area to Scuol main village, took a cablecar up to Motta Naluns.
From there, we hiked upwards to Sent (another village) and then walk all the way back to Scoul.

The weather was basically very kind to us. Neither too much rain, nor was it too hot...

St. Moritz

We also made a trip to the famous St. Moritz. Well, not all these glitters and glamour as what the name suggest are really worth making the trip actually. We are not at all fascinated by St. Moritz. Perhaps, one have to go there on during winter, when all the V.I.Ps from all over the world visit there and "Hang Around - Chill"?

"Bei den Seen"- Top section of Samnaun

As the tradition goes, every camping trip to Scoul, one must (or more than one reason) definetly visit the TAX-FREE zone from Samnaun. The specialty in the City Shop (one of Roman and Gangs` favourite shop) are their special wiskey from all over the world. Of course, its wiskey stock up time!
Usually (for the past years) the weather is not stable, either there is rain all day or there is fog around the mountains, but this time, the weather was perfect for another short hike on the top section of Samnaun.
As the groupphoto shows, we are still hanging on.
From left to right: Roman, Donny, Lena, Matyas und Bogdan.

Shortly after our phototaking on the snowfield in SUMMER, we lost our way even with the updated hikingmap. Resulting: we have to climb for about an hour through big heavy rock from an ealier avalanche. Rather tough but luckily, we managed. Not only Donny wants to have his foot soaked in the small lake....

Bogdan had taken off everything and soak himself in the lake! Couragous indeed, one see how the snow are melting into the lake, it was damn cold! That`s why he ran out within seconds... :-)

Motta Naluns - Ftan - Ardez

Festung Ardez

Before we get to see castle we wanted to see, we went past a few old ruins....
From our hiking map, we didn`t locate this ruins Chanoua - a local attraction - in the past.
Mountain flowers from Engadin. Unfortunately due to the sun, there is too much light, one don`t see how impressive this flowers actually are from the pictures. (Yes, this is the disadvantage of good weather! (Hehe)

With the Burgfried der Festung von Ardez, we can bring our report to a final close.
Deepest gratitute to Lena for lending us her car! That was very kind! THANK YOU!
