Hey Donny,

Good luck with the papers and I know that I don't need to wish you luck for your visit to
Sydney, you should have all the attention you can handle  :-)

== Mögliche Aktivitäten/Ausflüge ==
thanks for the update on schedule and plans (you'll need to ring me once you land so I
can meet you at my place and give you directions) -- are you renting a car at the airport
or do you need a lift? The Quest place is maybe 3-4 kms away (in the direction of the CBD)

# Great Ocean Road with 12 Apostles: Torquay till Warrnambool

# of course Factory Outlet SHOPPING for me :-) ehehehehe

I have done the first 2 along with the Dandenongs although I never made it on to Puffing
Billy (but I know that James and his mother did) -- I think you want to go to Ballarat
and Sovereign Hill (19th century gold mine and town) instead of Ballarat
the Great Ocean Rd (which lost an Apostle a few months ago -- it collapsed) is beautiful
and will be at least a full day but well worth the effort -- it's hardest on the driver
since he can't check out the scenery as much .... I haven't gone all the way down to
Warrnambool but instead have just gone as far as Port....(can't remember but just past
the Apostles and London Bridge)
the Penguin Parade is an evening thing and maybe a 2 hr drive so you have to plan on
leaving late in the afternoon but again, it is worth it
the Dandenongs are just an hr away and very nice -- beautiful, green, and loads of quaint
little villages and shops and restos -- you can easily make this a half day trip or
longer depending on your mood
the outlet shopping is good -- they have opened up a new mall near the airport but there
are also loads of shops primarily located on just a couple of streets (Bridge Rd in
Richmond and Smith St in Collingwood)
I don't have a calendar in front of me but am assuming you'll be here for the WE -- wanna
do any clubbing (who are the others that will be with you? gay or not?) -- I may be going
to a str8 rave thing on Fri the 2nd but that shouldn't matter

* Phillip Island: Berühmte Pinguin-Parade aber vielleicht etwas viele Touristen? ([http://www.phillipisland.net.au/])
(Donny) If we can still impose you for these few days, the rest of the 3 people will stay
in this apartment thing, while we're at your place. For these trip, i have rented a
Toyota Tarago 9-seater thing, so, if you are free, perhaps we can all go somewhere
together?

* Bendigo - alte Goldgräberstadt ca. 1h von Melbourne entfernt, alte Goldmine zu besichtigen ([http://www.central-deborah.com/index.shtml])
(Steve) of course you can still impose and I have already let Yuan know abt this (I also
have spare keys and can loan you my Melways although the rental car will probably come
with one) -- as for whether we come along on the trips ....that will depend on our
schedules -- he is most likely having Honours interviews Dec 1-3 and I am supposed to be
working so we may let you go out and explore on your own during the day but then hang out
in the evenings
